“The ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion
with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy
will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away” (Isaiah 51:11).
“May I never boast except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14).
Our boast is in the Lord who has ransomed us. We rejoice in Him. He
has given us a new song of joy. We no longer sing the world’s song.
Now, we are singing the Lord’s song. The world’s way is always there to
pull us away from the Lord. We must “always be zealous for the fear of
the Lord” (Proverbs 23:17).
